Periwinkle | Jars of Clay Collection: Part 2

Periwinkle:
A colour in the blue / purple family;
A common plant characterisied by dainty periwinkle-blue flowers;
A small sea snail often found on rocky shores, little tide pools and muddy habitats.

It's funny that a cute and humorous word like "periwinkle" has so many meanings. And now, I shall again take the English language into my own hands and name one of my creations accordingly! :)

Part 2 of the Jars of Clay collection focuses on the only pair of earrings in this collection. Alas, poor judgment resulted in me only buying 2 of this particular Lun Bawang bead, so it is the one and only pair in the world and cannot be remade once sold. So if you like it, grab it before it's gone!
 Off-white Lun Bawang beads with periwinkle blue swirls, ending with violet round-faceted chinese crystals that appear blue in certain light, and purple in others.
Item Code & Name: 261 Periwinkle
Price: RM9.00
Status: Available (one pair only - not available for remakes once it is sold!)
Materials: Periwinkle Blue Swirl Lun Bawang Beads, Violet Round-Faceted Chinese Crystals

(ok time for football talk!)
Poor, poor Brazil. It was painful to watch them suffer such crushing defeat at the hands (or feet) of the competent and skilled German team. I'm not even an avid Brazil supporter and I was cringing for them. The Netherlands and Argentina match was sooooo long. Not particularly exciting, though the penalties definitely were. It's always sad to lose out on penalties, so I feel sorry for the Dutch - the best team to have never won the World Cup. Yikes. Looking forward to the Germany - Argentina final. I'm sure it'll be an entertaining one!

Also, I will never understand what possesses someone to want to be a goalkeeper. It is so stressful to have to guard the goalpost, and if you can't catch any penalty kicks at the most crucial hour for your team, you might be vilified by your entire country. Poor Julio Cesar and Jasper Cillessen.

Okay football talk over.
See you during the next post!
