Today's post features yet another customised piece. One of my regular customers Gnie (hi if you're reading this!) wanted to customise a happy, rainbow-coloured necklace for her 3 year old daughter, along the veins of the previous Rainbow Sprinkles Collection.

So I drew inspiration from those trinkets and made the following piece for her. :)

 Shiny faux pearls in merry and cheerful rainbow tones and a little butterfly link as the "pendant". Imagine a garden full of bright, beautiful flowers, and a single butterfly... fluttering by.

Closeup! I do so like the colourful pearls arranged neatly in a row. :)

Petite Blossoms | Rainbow Sprinkles Collection: Part 4

Alas, we've come to the last post of the Rainbow Sprinkles Collection... I'm sad to say goodbye, but excited for the new stuff coming your way! :)

This bracelet, much like the Daisy Chain bracelet, features a range of petite flowers. The difference is - while the previous bracelet had metal flowers in a bed of rainbow-coloured pearls, this bracelet's flowers come in rainbow hues, making it my absolute favourite of the lot:

 Rainbow-toned frosted acrylic flowers interspersed with shiny rainbow pearls on a rhodium-plated chain.

 If you look closely, you can see that each flower actually consists of a tiny ivory pearl encased in the frosted flower. Oh so dainty and petite - makes me wish I lived in a garden of rainbow blossoms! :3

Petite little blossoms, lined in a row, come let's live in a world where rainbow blossoms grow! 

(This was a really really bad attempt at rhyming. I apologize. o.O)

Candy Crush | Rainbow Sprinkles Collection: Part 3

Oh, Candy Crush, everyone's latest addiction. 

Before I became completely obsessed with crafting accessories, it was my one and only time-consuming vice. Sure, it's fun, but can anything be more frustrating than having ONE remaining jelly to remove and NO MOVES left? Haha! I'm sure all Candy Crush aficionados can relate.

Anyway, this post is not about Candy Crush. Not entirely anyway.

The round and striped acrylic beads that I used for Ai Li's bracelet (here!) come in various rainbow colours too, and happened to remind my equally-obsessed-with-Candy-Crush colleague (Hi Lin! :p) of the wonderful striped candies you can sometimes get in a Candy Crush game when strategies pay off and the stars align. *heehee*

I thought it would be an adorable addition to the Rainbow Sprinkles Collection, so here we go:

Rainbow-striped candy beads paired with the same tiny shiny rainbow faux pearls from the Sweet Hearts bracelet, capped off with a "Joy" charm.

 There's just something incredibly cheerful about this bracelet. Makes me wanna smile. :D

Sweet Hearts | Rainbow Sprinkles Collection: Part 2

Helloooo sweethearts!

 At what point can one start calling their tiny number of blog readers "sweethearts"? ;)

After the last post's flowery affair, Part 2 of the Rainbow Sprinkles collection features hearts that look colourful and yummy enough to resemble little heart-shaped sweets - hence the name "Sweet Hearts". I delight in making puntastic puns. :D

Without further ado, here we have yet another colourful and fun concoction for the bright and young at heart. 

 A rotation of adorable rainbow-coloured acrylic hearts paired with tiny shiny rainbow faux pearls, accentuated at the end with a cutesy "love" charm.

 After some meticulous arranging and re-arranging of the little shiny rainbow pearls and rainbow hearts, this was the colour combination that I think looked the prettiest.  

 Ahhh, don't they look good enough to eat? Please don't, though. If I could hazard a guess, doing so would probably be quite hazardous to your health.

Daisy Chain | Rainbow Sprinkles Collection: Part 1

When I was a little girl, I lived for a few years in the U.K, where flowers bloom and green grass grows (during Spring and Summer, anyway). I've always wanted to make a daisy chain (which I associate with all things British), and have never gotten the chance till now!

Obviously I've taken a lot of artistic liberties in interpreting the flowers below as "daisies", and obviously traditional daisies have white petals and a yellow centre, but this bracelet comes in all colours of the RAINBOW, because - artistic liberty, yo. :p

 Shiny faux pearls in rainbow tones linked together by antique silver-plated daisies.

Rainbow Sprinkles Collection - Masterpost

Happy July, people! :)

Coming soon (to a theatre near you, haha) -

After the dark and sombre tones of the Fly Me To The Moon collection, I thought it best to spice things up a little with a dash of colour - a Sprinkle of Rainbows, if you will.

I'm more fond of monochromatic tones myself, but now and then, I do appreciate colourful things - rainbow cakes, for example, are a work of art (and extremely delicious). And who doesn't like to spot that elusive arch in the sky (arc en ciel, as the French say), a miracle of nature after the rain, symbolic of new beginnings and silver linings - the best is yet to come.

Over the next week, I'll be posting some bright and cheery trinkets, all of them in happy rainbow tones. :)
